The words of steering.
A precise vocabulary for a new discipline.
At Brainmood, every term has a strict definition. That's what distinguishes a steering framework from a speech.
- 01Collective dynamics
- An organization's capacity to sustain effort, cohesion and performance over time. It is Brainmood's unit of analysis, never the individual.
- 02Organizational steering
- The discipline of reading, prioritizing and arbitrating a collective's operating conditions with the same rigor as financial steering. Concerns general management, line management and HR functions.
- 03Weak signals
- Latent pressures and imbalances perceptible before they become visible crises in the KPIs: misalignment, operational friction, loss of collective energy.
- 04QWL (QVCT)
- Quality of life and working conditions. At Brainmood, QWL is not a well-being program: it is a measurable consequence of healthy organizational steering.
- 05Pseudonymous collection
- Responses are collected without a nominative profile and rendered exclusively in aggregate, above a minimum threshold. No individual reading is possible. GDPR compliance by design, not by promise.
- 06Anti-reidentification threshold
- The minimum group size below which no result is displayed, so no response can ever be traced back to a person.
- 07Organizational alignment
- Consistency between strategic intent, field experience and the real flow of information. The first factor of durable performance, and the first blind spot of classic dashboards.
- 08Decision-oriented readout
- The program's structured output: prioritized levers presented to executives and managers, each with an owner, a deadline and a completion criterion. Not a descriptive report: an action plan.
- 09Steering cadence
- A regular rhythm of measurement, reading and arbitration that installs the method in governance and leadership routines. Cadence is what distinguishes a one-off observation from a durable capability.
- 10Operational stabilization
- A work sequence focused exclusively on real work situations: clarifying irritants, then 1 to 3 concrete actions per cycle. Professional framework, non-medical, non-therapeutic.
